Anyway, the first "Saturday photo" was posted on June 11, 2011.
1. Ahead of her time
A bunch of roses in various stages of bloom.
2. Lovely women
Tea pickers at the TATA Tea Estate in Kerala, India.
3. One of a kind...
A lost - but standout - flower in a garden.
4. Focus...
Spotting and zeroing in on one flower in a sea of so many.
5. Ugh! Get a room!
Aah, those bees... look at them go!
6. Hope floats...
A patch of color and texture in a vast monotony of dullness.
7. Hide and seek...
A little flower is a satisfying playground and source of sustenance for those fun-loving bees.
8. Happie...
A tingling giggly moment captured.
9. It's an explosion... of colors!
A colorful patch of flowers by the roadside that I chanced upon while I went for a run.
10. Meowww...
Sario Gift Gate's Hello Kitty! in the house, er, in the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. The most loved kitty in the world cutifies the Airport with vibrant colors and endearing nostalgic images.
11. Bitten
A photo of the Apple flag with the American and the State of California flags flying against a stunning blue sky at One Infinite Loop. With the photo is a great inspiration from Apple's former visionary leader, the iCon himself, Steve Jobs.
12. Say a little prayer
A photo of the tympanum and archibolt at the main entrance of the Manila Cathedral.
13. Standout... or anomaly?
A flower that stands out in a bunch of green in a garden.
14. Lost and found
A little flower, so pretty and distinct, in a sea of green in a garden.
15. Fall-in'
A favorite personal autumn photo evokes nostalgic memories of my very first autumn in the mid-'90s at the Ohio State University.
16. Fall-en... on bended knees
Another tribute to my fave season - autumn. This time, the photo was taken at the Libe Slope of Cornell University.
17. Grad School - engineering style
Yep, in my attempt for humor, I tried to compile a few things that, based on my experience, describe the "funny aspect" of being in an engineering research group in the Grad School. Of course, the fact of the matter is, when it comes down to actual work, it's guaranteed to be an exciting experience to be in such a brilliant group - anytime! :)
18. Tough... and topnotch!
A little tribute to Prof. Syed S. H. Rizvi, my former professor - the Head of my Ph.D. Committee in Cornell University Institute of Food Science.
19. The Man-Made Forest of Bohol
The man-made forest of Bohol is a fascinating successful collaboration between man and nature. It can be appreciated via a 2-km road lined with mahogany trees that stretched towards the sky almost at the same height and make a green canopy above the winding road.
20. A surprise... that pleasantly surprises
A pre-Christmas reflection on the many blessings that God give us, but in our blind preoccupation on unimportant worries and cynicism, we usually miss them. This is a personal account on what I never thought I'd ever have... but I actually had it already - a God's gift, given to me long before I ever thought I would need it, crave for it. :)
22. Happy birthday, Jesus!
It's that time of year when the Christian World celebrates the birth of its King - the King of Kings! Happy Christmas to one and all!
23. "The Joy of Quiet"
My last post for 2011. It's the photo of the famed "Chocolate Hills" in Bohol, Philippines... which goes with a wish to be re-acquianted with the "Joy of Quiet" in 2012.
24. The fulfillment of a 'non-promise'...
A photo of a backyard garden plot that holds sweet promise of love and personal commitment.
- To be continued... promise! -
