I just returned from a trip to New York City after, I dunno... three years... since my last visit? Yeah, that sounds about right... three years. And, as I tiredly lie in my own bed after several nights of sleeping on hotel and guest beds (a story for another post), the song "This Town" by Niall Horan comes to mind.
I gotta say... I missed New York City. It hasn't changed too much since my last visit... it was still very crowded and many parts still stank from tons of garbage and all that... but it remained awesome, so alive, so vibrant, so larger than life!
I hope to visit again at some point... but just to hang out with friends and family rather than to visit for work. Until then, I'll hum along Niall's sincerity with a beautiful tune.
