Morning ritual...

...augurs well to a great day!

Ritual recipe: some coffee, a lot of Math, a little bling... and Goo Goo Dolls in the background!

It was another one of those days when a lecture heavy on Math was to be delivered, and the best way to make it look delicious to the students was to discuss an application in Food Processing. The topic was the Permeate Flux Model based on the Film Theory in Pressure-Driven Membrane Separation. The application? Ultrafiltration of milk and whey, of course! :)

While the lecture preparation can become gruelling sometimes, answering the tough question of how to garnish those prime cuts of technical meat with artistic touches via Powerpoint for an effective knowledge transfer, mine slides quite nicely with some Goo Goo Dolls lubrication. :) My mind stays alert throughout the cook-out by the periodic sips of that "stay-awake" potion called café and headache is shooed away by breathing air saturated with the potion's aroma. And to soften the all-tough task, I turn the fashionista volume in me a few notches up with a little bling! :) And so, the lecture becomes a fabulous concoction of all things tough, delicious and beautiful - absolutely irresistible! :)

For a while now, I have been happily savoring the sweetness of multilingualism in the Scientific World, speaking the ultimate language of Engineering - Math, the alphabet of Natural Sciences - Chemistry, and the fuel of human life - Food Science and Technology. It is a professional arsenal that is defined by the equation: Chemical Engineering + Food Science and Technology = Food (Process) Engineering, which basically is the yummy application of Math, with a huge serving of Chemistry - on the side... and I love it! :)

Life is good... finger lickin' good! ;)
