I have been buried "12 feet below" work surface! (Translation: grading 12 sets of examination
He may have departed, but
his legacy lives on. papers! Ugh!) While that is absolutely lamentable... no, that's not why I am mourning now....
I took a few minutes to dig myself out of the work "ditch", find my way to the surface... and over here, to join the whole Tech World in mourning the death of 'the one' who was iCon - Steve Jobs.
We say farewell, but we keep his legacy of innovation in our (digital) midst... the world that he 'created' for us and those who will come after us - out of pure genius, mindblowing passion and nerve-wracking intensity in his commitment to perfection, and bold irreverence to 'rules' in his pursuit of true innovation.
You are one of a kind, irreplaceable... and you will be thoroughly missed, Mr. Jobs!
