The heat is on... and every conceivable surface - tangible and otherwise - is red hot!
When the going gets tough, the tough gets going... and the tough is powered by a raging intensity such as this...
I'm spinning, oh, I'm spinning!
Pearl Jam... ah, such awesomeness! And their frontman, the incredible Eddie Vedder, is the King of Grunge! He sings with intense rage... but in such beautiful way - that only those who are exhilarated by adrenalin rush can absolutely appreciate. And this is probably why most engineers - the most faithful servants of innovation and its exhilarating flight - work with such focus and intensity when the awesome grit in Vedder's (and his grunge brethren's) voice is scraping the air to turn up intensity - to the max! Days, nights tick by unnoticed... only intensity flies around with such sharp zoom, lending energy, until it explodes to brilliant pieces of awesomeness as the task is completed, all challenges tamed - beaten! And innovation reigns supreme once again! And its faithful servants can finally stretch with relief... and celebrate with the sweetness of a fist pump and say, "Yes! Mission accomplished!" - with feelings! Whew!

Uhm, ahem, in case some are wondering, I'm thinking about my graduating students as I write this... they have been laboring to put a "big kite" to flight on Friday. Ah, here we go, intensity!
