And so, here we are... we survived 2021, and we are moving on to 2022! As we do, my sister and I tried to usher in the year with our humble version of sumptuous home-cooked meal (well, mostly home-cooked, anyway), filling my sister and brother-in-law's little dining table. In the end, it was not the individual dishes that mattered, it was the offering of a meal and prayer of thanks for God's love and kindness in the previous year, and our humble prayers of continued blessings and God's love for the coming year.
I feel fortunate to have celebrated the New Year with family - my constant, and therefore, very special, more so in this extraordinary times. I have to say though that the food was really good!
