The day has finally arrived... the Kings of Spanish Football, FC Barcelona, up against the Kings of English Football, Manchester United FC, for the 2011 UEFA Champions League title!
Who will prevail? We know which Club I'm rooting for, of course... and it's more than a Club, too! :) No amount of British sports reporting that buttered up ManU's chances against the Catalans, and Pep Guardiola's caballero humility can hide the fact in my head - one of these sides is better than the other - on all fronts! But this is football... anything can happen! And, a few hours before the opening whistle, and after witnessing a complete Juan Martin del Potro demolition by Novak Djokovic as they continued their third round rumble in Roland Garros with booming huge shots that involved all their body parts, I'm still gauging my heart... is it still "healthy enough" to endure the 90-minute battle? Loud thump, thump, thump.... Of course, I'm nervous! It's Champions League final, for crying out loud!
