This makes me tingle with "happie-ness"... it was taken in the summer of 2003 - a lucky shot. :) The Cornell Institute of Food Science welcomed new grad students with an "uncork New York" wineries and vineyards tour in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. Since we were "old students", we helped host the event. These ladies in the photo - dear friends both - were "lightweights"... therefore, only two wineries later, their cheeks were pink and they were already giggly happie! :) While the rest of the group "studied" the lunch menu in one vineyard, these two were trying it out - as a sunblock! =) Needless to say, the new students felt the warm welcome! :)
I'm only talking about wineries tour here... just imagine when we spent a few days in Las Vegas... or, the French Quarter in New Orleans! Ah-hahaha... uhm, ahem, sorry. =) Memories - incredibly fun ones! I miss these ladies... I do.
